Lufthansa to introduce ‘A la carte’ dining options in economy and premium economy

    Lufthansa announced (07-Mar-2018) plans to introduce seven ‘A la carte’ dining options for economy and premium economy passengers, effective May-2018. The product will be available on long haul services for an extra charge of EUR19 to EUR33.     It also announced (07-Mar-2018) a partnership with which will enable passengers to shop for groceries online while onboard aircraft. The partnership runs on a trial basis from 01-Apr-2018 to Jun-2018 for short, medium and long haul services from Munich and Berlin. Orders may also be placed worldwide in all Lufthansa lounges.
