Lufthansa Group will require multiple years to return to pre-coronavirus capacity: CEO

Lufthansa Group chairman and CEO Carsten Spohr said it will take multiple years for the group to return to its pre-coronavirus capacity and fleet (Der Spiegel, 30-Mar-2020). He added that all global airlines will have to go through some form of fleet reorganisation and scheduling due to the crisis. He also argued that growth in air traffic will "shift even more dynamically from business travellers to private customers".
