Deutsche Lufthansa AG chairman and CEO Carsten Spohr stated airline business models are "converging" (Bloomberg, 11-Jun-2018). For the Lufthansa Group specifically, Mr Spohr stated the creation of Eurowings has allowed the group's premium brands to "be more premium again", which has been a "significant driver of recent success".
