Louisville Regional Airport to roll out USD100m in improvements over next five to six years

Louisville Regional Airport Authority executive director Dan Mann reported the Louisville Regional Airport board approved more than USD100 million in improvements over a five to six year period to the airport to ensure it can handle increasing traffic (Louisville Courier Journal, 10-Apr-2019). Plans include investing USD15 million on sliding walkways, USD20 million to acquire 24 new aerobridges, USD40 million on new airport mechanical systems, as well as adding 1000 parking spaces and relocating some vehicle parking and car rental facilities.
