LOT to launch Warsaw-London City service from Jan-2019 with four new Embraer 190s

LOT Polish Airlines announced (14-Jun-2018) plans to launch 12 times weekly Warsaw-London City service from 07-Jan-2019. The launch will be the 100th connection in the carrier's network. LOT Polish Airlines plans to acquire four new 106 seat E190 aircraft for the service. The aircraft will be leased from NAC and delivered at the end of 2018. Embraer Commercial Aviation VP Europe, Russia, Central Asia and leasing Martyn Holmes, said: "With this deal LOT adds another Embraer 'first' to their history books - the first airline to operate all four variants of E-Jets in their fleet. By the end of this year, with six E170s, twelve E175s, four E190s and twelve E195s". London City Airport chief commercial officer Richard Hill said: "For the first time in a decade, a regular service between London City and Poland touches down with LOT Polish Airlines".
