London Heathrow Airport calls for UK Government to establish quarantine alternatives; could have coronavirus testing facility ‘within the next two weeks’

    London Heathrow Airport stated (29-Jul-2020) the UK‘s economic recovery depends on restarting aviation, and the UK Government’s risk based approach to allow quarantine free services from low and medium risk countries is very welcome, but only covers 30% of Heathrow‘s markets. Establishing an alternative to quarantine for coronavirus free passengers from other countries should be a priority for Government. Pre-service testing for passengers from high risk countries will allow long haul operations to resume, which is critical for the UK‘s economic recovery.
