Peru‘s international carriers association general manager Carlos Gutierez commented on the delay for the expansion of Lima Jorge Chavez International Airport, the construction of a second terminal is priority “over the construction of a second runway” (El Comercio, 08-Oct-2018). The current terminal has capacity for 10 million passengers and handled 20.6 million in 2017, according to OAG.
