Peru's Ministry of Transport stated that Lima Jorge Chavez International Airport expansion project timeline is maintained (Gestion, 18-May-2020). The government has already handed over the land for the construction of a second runway. Lima Airport Partners is working on a reactivation plan to resume construction. Construction of Chinchero Cusco Airport is halted and will remain halted for the time being.
