Libyan Wings aims to add a third aircraft

16 January, 2018

Libyan Wings CEO Edgardo Badiali said the carrier is seeking to lease or purchase a third aircraft, "ideally" and A320 but potentially an A319 or A321 (Arabian Aerospace, 15-Jan-2018). The airline currently operates two A319s. Mr Badiali commented: "In some ways, an A321 would be ideal, but we prefer to be a little more conservative - despite the load factors we're running". Mr Badiali reported 96% load factor in Jul/Aug-2017, partially attributable to Eid, and commented: "The response of the market is just amazing".
