LIAT anticipating 'gradual improvement' in demand by end of Jun-2020

LIAT reported it is expecting the impact from the coronavirus outbreak to be "in the millions", adding "the loss will depend on the length of the suspension as well as the recovery period" (Barbados Today, 10-Apr-2020). The carrier added it will continue to operate charters and services on request and will also "be expanding our cargo operation to provide a support role in the region". It is anticipating a "gradual improvement" in demand by the end of Jun-2020, despite "dismal conditions for our ongoing operations" due to the pandemic.
