La Compagnie to upgrade onboard business class offering from spring 2019

La Compagnie plans to upgrade the onboard business class product range from spring 2019 (travelmarketreport.com, 01-Nov-2018). The carrier plans to phase out Boeing 757 in favour of new A321neo aircraft, with two to be added in Apr-2019. As previously reported by CAPA, the carrier selected Rockwell Collins' diamond seat with embedded IFE for the A321neo to be configured with 76 full flat seats. La Compagnie EVP Jean Charles Perino said the carrier holds an advantage over others in that, with no economy class offering, its business class "doesn't have to subsidise the cheapest fares".
