KwaZulu-Natal's Executive Council for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs member Sihle Zikalala held discussions with British Airways on relaunching direct UK-Durban service (Business Report, 14-Feb-2018). Mr Zikalala commented: "They [British Airways] see huge potential in the Durban-London route and we are extremely optimistic that our engagements will bear fruits". British Airways last operated on the route 16 years ago.
