KLM to operate only seasonal Amsterdam-Havana service in 2020 to free up slots for Austin launch

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines announced (24-Sep-2019) plans to suspend three times weekly Amsterdam-Havana service, effective 02-May-2020, according to a 24-Sep-2019 GDS display. The carrier will convert the route to seasonal service, resuming in Oct-2020. KLM stated changes will be made to its network to free up slots at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in order to launch three times weekly Amsterdam-Austin service in May-2020. [more - original PR]
