KLM to launch tender to install WiFi on 737 and Embraer fleets

    KLM Royal Dutch Airlines EVP customer experience Boet Kreiken reported the carrier plans to launch a tender for installation of onboard WiFi on its fleet of Boeing 737s and Embraer aircraft (luchtvaartnieuws.nl, 13-Mar-2019). Mr Kreiken said “we are certainly not lagging behind” partner airline Air France‘s onboard WiFi offering. “At the end of this year, 15 Boeing 777s must already be converted and work is also underway on the A330s”, Mr Kreiken said. He added the airline is considering whether it will offer WiFi on all European services, to be decided by the end of 2019.
