Kazakhstan's Parliament considers amendments to rules on baggage for LCCs

Kazakhstan's Civil Aviation Committee, via its official Facebook account, announced (23-Jan-2019) Mazhilis lower house of Parliament is considering amendments to the rules on checked and cabin baggage allowances, and concessions for children for LCCs, in response to the order on the launch of a LCC. As previously reported by CAPA, Air Astana proposed changes to the law to allow carriers to charge for onboard meals and checked baggage. Air Astana plans to launch LCC FlyArystan in 1H2019, operating as a division of Air Astana.
