Japan's Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Keiichi Ishii said annual inbound visitors could exceed 30 million for the first time in 2018 (Jiji Tsushin, 14-Dec-2018). The Government is targeting 40 million annual visitors by 2020.
