Japan Airlines to reduce international frequencies by 90% in Aug-2020, 89% in Sep-2020

    Japan Airlines (JAL) announced (09-Jul-2020) plans to reduce its international frequencies by 90% in Aug-2020 and 89% in Sep-2020. Over the next two months, JAL will resume Tokyo Narita-Boston service, temporarily resume one way Los Angeles-Osaka Kansai service, and increase frequency Tokyo Haneda-Paris and Tokyo Narita-Frankfurt, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Manila. International frequency reductions are as follows:

    • Aug-2020: Reduced by 90%;
      • Americas: 82%;
      • Europe: 76%;
      • Southeast Asia: 86%;
      • Oceania: 100%;
      • East Asia: 96%;
      • Hawaii/Guam: 99%;
    • Sep-2020: 89%;
      • Americas: 82%;
      • Europe: 75%;
      • Southeast Asia: 86%;
      • Oceania: 100%;
      • East Asia: 96%;
      • Guam: 100%.
