Japan Airlines to cut Hawaii capacity by at least 10% in FY2019

Japan Airlines (JAL) MD Hideki Kikuyama said the carrier plans to cut Hawaii capacity by more than 10% during FY2019 citing "the demand and supply balance will be lost" (Aviation Wire, 27-Apr-2019). He said JAL will operate charter flights to Hawaii from local airports and will consider equipment changes in order to meet the first class demand during busy seasons.
