CAPA – Centre for Aviation stated (09-Oct-2019) Japan Airlines received a Boeing 787-8 (JA846J, MSN 35435), as recorded by the CAPA Fleet Database. The GE powered aircraft was ordered in Mar-2017 and is configured with six business class, 58 premium economy class and 227 economy class seats. Japan Airlines now operates 26 787-8s with a further three on order in addition to its existing 17 787-9 fleet.
