Japan Airlines notes good trend in premium cabins on US services

4 June, 2019

Japan Airlines (JAL) VP and Southwest regional manager Kiichi Nakajima stated first and business class cabins on the carrier's Los Angeles services are always almost full, a trend common across JAL's routes to the US mainland (Travel Watch, 30-May-2019). He said load factor on Japan-Los Angeles services averages above 90%, but added that JAL needs to strengthen sales effort to capture more high end customers for the increased capacity created by the proposed additional Tokyo Haneda slots in 2020.
