Jamaica‘s Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett confirmed he is in the process of finalising a bilateral air service agreement with France which will see the opening of direct flights between Montego Bay and destinations in France (Jamaica Observer, 03-Oct-2018). Mr Bartlett stated: “I am very excited to announce that Jamaica is going to be increasing connectivity with France. The Director of Tourism and I will be meeting with Air France-KLMand French tourism Investors, to tie up an arrangement that will certainly benefit our country”.
