JAL expects Korean-Delta JV to 'stimulate the market between North Asia' and the US

Japan Airlines (JAL) VP marketing and strategy research Asia and Oceania Region Akihide Yoguchi, speaking on CAPA TV, commented (Apr-2018) on the changes to Asia-North America market due to the Korea Airlines-Delta Air Lines JV stating: "I think the Korea and Delta joint venture will stimulate the market between North Asia, and the United States. I think it's a good thing, but as us, trying to capture the demand from the Southeast Asia and North America, well, they are our competitor, so, we will compete, and we'll stimulate the airline industry to grow together".
