Italy's Ambassador to Malaysia: Talks with AirAsia over direct service 'encouraging'

Italy's Ambassador to Malaysia Cristiano Maggipinto reported meetings with AirAsia on the potential of launching a service between the countries were "encouraging", adding it is "an obstacle" that Itally and Malaysia have no direct connectivity (Bernama, 25-Jun-2019). Mr Maggipinto added Malaysia "has all the characteristics to attract more Italian tourists".
