It is an 'illusion' that KLM would fare better without Air France: Unions

Air France unions responded (04-May-2020) to recent KLM Works Council suggestions of a split in the Air France-KLM merger, arguing it is an "illusion to think that KLM would fare better without Air France". In a joint statement, the unions stated KLM has taken "full advantage of access to the French market... one of the largest, most attractive and most lucrative in the world" since 2004. They also argued KLM benefits from the shared services of sales and revenue management teams as well as from Air France financing up to 60% of all group joint investments. [more - original PR]
