On-time performance is defined by OAG as departures and arrivals that take place strictly less than 15 minutes after schedule for airports. For airlines 'on-time' is defined as arrivals that take place strictly less than 15 minutes after schedule.
Awarded twice a year in April and October, and based on 12 months of rolling data, this is the ultimate, inclusive, globally recognised accreditation for any airline or airport.
The programme utilises a star rating based on the following percentages:
To be eligible for a star - all airlines and airports must have a minimum of 600 operations a month.

Taking the region from strength to strength, Tigerair Singapore and Jetstar Asia both achieve a 4-star rating and Tokushima and Kōchi airports achieved a 5-star rating, making the Japanese airports amongst the highest for global punctuality.
