Brazil's travel agency association (ABAV) announced (16-Jan-2018) Infraero's maximum airport charges were adjusted on 10-Jan-2018. Passenger boarding and connection charges and aircraft landing and stay charges increased by 4.6% while cargo storage and related charges increased by 2.9%. Domestic boarding charge will be capped at BRL31.27 (USD9.69) while international will be capped at BRL118.06 (USD36.59). Charges can only be implemented 30 days after announced.
