Indigo Partners: JetSmart a 'terrific success so far', giving Argentina a 'hard look'

Indigo Partners managing partner William Franke, speaking on CAPA TV, stated (Apr-2018) Chilean LCC start-up JetSmart is "focused on getting our legs under us" and the carrier's initial route has been a "terrific success so far". Mr Franke also noted there is strong airline interest in Argentina at the moment, and he worries "that there may be too much exuberance in advance of the opportunity", although Indigo Partners "think Argentina longer term is an important market if you're a Latin American airline" and the company will take a "hard look" at the country.
