IndiGo adds 19 destinations in 2019

IndiGo CEO Ronojoy Dutta reported the LCC added 19 new destinations to its network in 2019, comprising eight international destinations and 11 domestic destinations (Economic Times/Live Mint/Times of India/CNBC-TV18/Financial Express, 18-Dec-2019). IndiGo's network now comprises 83 destinations, a 22% year-on-year increase, including 23 international destinations. Mr Dutta noted: "IndiGo became the first Indian carrier to connect India to Istanbul, Chengdu, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City" in 2019. New domestic destinations for the LCC in 2019 include Shillong Airport, Shirdi Sri Saibaba International Airport, Gaya Airport, Jodhpur Airport, Silchar Kumbhirgram Airport, Belgaum Airport and Mysore Airport.
