Indianapolis International Airport manager of air service development Maggie Bishop stated the airport's "air service strategy continues to focus on increased service in both domestic and international markets" (Routes Online, 04-Feb-2020). According to Ms Bishop, international destinations targeted by the airport include "Mexico, South America, Asia, Europe and Canada". Ms Bishop said the airport is also interested in "shorter flight destinations that are generally considered drive markets from Indianapolis" such as "St Louis, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee and Memphis" among others. The airport is also looking to continue growing its "West Coast connectivity to align with the needs of the business community".
