India's Government reportedly plans to resume efforts to divest its stake in Air India within the next few months (Business Standard/Money Control/CNBC-TV18/Economic Times/Live Mint, 27/29/30-May-2019). The government is considering plans to divest a 100% stake in the airline, rather than the 74% stake it offered in 2018. The airline will reportedly delay plans to expand its network and lease additional aircraft until the divestment process is completed.
