India DGCA instructs Jet Airways to assist passengers impacted by aircraft grounding

India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) reportedly instructed Jet Airways to exclusively operate "completely airworthy aircraft" and to arrange alternative options for all passengers impacted by cancellations associated with the grounding of Jet Airways aircraft (TNN/Live Mint/Deccan Herald/New Indian Express/NDTV, 07-Mar-2019). Jet Airways reportedly has reported grounded 52 aircraft, including 28 due to non payment of dues to lessors and 24 related to aircraft MRO issues, including engine and spare parts procurement issues.
