India and US seek to 'bolster long term strategic and commercial aviation cooperation'

Airports Authority of India (AAI), via its official Twitter account, stated (09-May-2018) the US Trade and Development Agency and India's Ministry of Civil Aviation met during the sixth biennial US-India Aviation Summit, noting: "Senior executives from public & pvt. sectors of India & the U.S. aim to bolster long-term strategic and commercial aviation cooperation". AAI added: "India's civil aviation has a high growth trajectory, poised to be 3rd largest by 2020 and the largest by 2030. GoI launched the country's first National Civil Aviation Policy, with plans for upgrading existing airports, developing new facilities and attracting investments".
