IATA: Sweden has ‘failed to align its airport charges process with international best practices’

    IATA director general and CEO Alexandre de Juniac said (21-Nov-2018) Sweden‘s competitiveness in the aviation sector faces a “big problem” with the availability of sufficient, cost-effective infrastructure. Mr de Juniac stated the “heart of the problem is that Sweden has failed to align its airport charges process with international best practices”, by applying charges that are “discriminatory” with a national regulation regime on airport charges that lacks enforcing power.
