IATA reports ‘modest’ declines in airline capital expenditures in 4Q2017

    IATA, via its Airlines Financial Monitor for Dec-2017 to Jan-2018, reported (13-Feb-2018) most regions saw modest year-on-year declines in capital expenditures, but these were more than offset in the sample total by a pick up in North America. IATA noted a wide spread in net cash flow performance by region. The measure rose strongly for European and Latin American airlines, but fell for those registered in Asia Pacific and North America.
