IATA: Domestic traffic in Brazil remains weak, despite slight pick up in May-2019

IATA reported (04-Jul-2019) domestic passenger volumes in Brazil "picked up slightly" in May-2019, growing 1.3% year-on-year. The Brazilian domestic market "remains weak" with demand having "clearly softened". Capacity decreased by a sizeable 4.4% in the market over the past year, resulting in a 4.6ppt increase in domestic load factor.
