IATA: Domestic markets up 3.5%, led by Asian markets

IATA reported (09-Jan-2020) global demand for domestic travel climbed 3.5% year-on-year in Nov-2019. This was a marginal decline from 3.7% annual growth recorded in Oct-2019. Capacity rose 3.8% and load factor slipped 0.2ppt to 82.8%. Standout growth markets included India (+11.3%) China (+5.3%) and Japan (+3.7%).
