Hotels.com Chinese travel to Canada up by two thirds in the past 12 months

Hotels.com reported (17-Jul-2018) its 2018 Chinese International Travel Monitor found Chinese travel to Canada increased 67% year-on-year over the past 12 months, becoming the 12th most popular country for Chinese travellers. According to the report Canada is now the second most preferred country that Chinese travellers plan to visit for the first time in the next 12 months. Canada is now considered the eighth most welcoming country in the world, and third outside of Asia (an increase from tenth position in the world and fifth outside of Asia last year) for Chinese travellers. 2018 has been officially designated the 'Canada-China Tourism Year'.
