Honeywell raises 10 year forecast for business jet demand by 1%, expects 7700 deliveries

    Honeywell released (14-Oct-2018) its ‘Global Business Aviation Outlook’ forecasting demand for up to 7700 new business jets worth USD251 billion from 2019 to 2028. Jet demand was raised 1% compared to the 2017 forecast, while jet values were raised by 2%. Purchase plans for the next five years are higher in North America and Europe, lower in Asia PacificMiddle EastAfrica and Latin America due to geopolitical issues and slow economic growth. The business jet industry is expected to experience strong growth in the short to medium term, supported by several new airplane models coming to market and an improved used aircraft environment.
