High Court of Ireland appointed KPMG as an interim examiner for CityJet to seek court protection due to financial difficulties brought about by COVID-19 (Irish Times/Irish Examiner/RTE, 17-Apr-2020). The Court accepted evidence that the airline has a reasonable prospect of survival if certain steps are taken, including restructuring and coming to new arrangements with creditors.
