Hawaiian Airlines expands codeshare agreement with Virgin Australia

Hawaiian Airlines and Virgin Australia expanded (31-Mar-2019) their codeshare agreement to offer a broader network of services to Hawaii from Australia and New Zealand, effective Apr-2019. Key highlights include:

  • Passengers travelling from Melbourne, Cairns, Townsville and Mackay to Hawaii can connect on Hawaiian codeshare services to Brisbane and Sydney operated by Virgin Australia, effective 03-Apr-2019;
  • Virgin Australia passengers will be able to book nonstop Brisbane-Honolulu service operated by Hawaiian for travel from 17-Apr-2019. This is in addition to existing codeshare services between Sydney and Honolulu, as well as Maui, Kauai, and Kona;
  • Passengers in Christchurch, Wellington, Dunedin and Queenstown will be able to travel across the Tasman on codeshare services operated by Virgin Australia. [more - original PR]
