Guatemala's Government and El Salvador's Government reportedly signed an Open Skies agreement (Diario El Mundo/Prensa Libre/Diario de Centro America, 28-Jan-2020). The agreement will recategorise services operating between the two countries as domestic services, enabling passengers to travel between Guatemala and El Salvador without passports and decreasing the cost of travel.
