Groupe ADP deputy CEO: Queues have 'completely disappeared' with PARAFE facial recognition units

10 July, 2018

Groupe ADP deputy CEO Edward Arkright, commenting on new PARAFE facial recognition systems, said a "gain in fluidity is obvious" in terms of passenger throughput (DemarchesAdministratives.fr, 09-Jul-2018). "The scenes from last year with queues sometimes of more than 80 minutes have completely disappeared, even though traffic is greater", Mr Arkwright continued. ADP introduced 46 PARAFE facial recognition systems at Paris Orly Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport on 06-Jul-2018, as previously reported by CAPA.
