Groupe ADP CEO: Privatisation will ‘change nothing’ regarding airport development, tariffs

Groupe ADP chair and CEO Augustin de Romanet, commenting on divestment plans of Groupe ADP by France‘s government, stated “terminals were better equipped in 2010 than in 2000 and are better equipped in 2017 than in 2010”, and this will continue after privatisation (franceinfo, 14-Jun-2018). Mr de Romanet said privatisation will “change nothing” regarding improvement of quality of service, development of the company and status of airport company employees. Mr de Romanet emphasised privatisation will have no effect on airport tariffs, which “are fixed by the Minister for Transport” each year, “and this will not change”.
