Groupe ADP CEO: Industry must 'recreate connectivity by creating confidence' for travellers

8 April, 2020

Groupe ADP chairman and CEO Augustin de Romanet, in an interview retweeted via his personal Twitter account, said (07-Apr-2020) "optimism is imperative" to resume global air connectivity, adding: "If we don't get air connectivity going again, hospitality and tourism sectors will not restart" (France Inter, 07-Apr-2020). Mr de Romanet argued the industry and the airport sector must "recreate connectivity by creating conditions of confidence" in three ways: Airport cleanliness and hygiene, bolstering security and safety protocols for arrival passengers and providing guarantees that health and safety requirements of a destination country are also respected by the origin country.
