Gogo: Airlines recognise business models of inflight connectivity providers has to change

    Gogo CEO Oakleigh Thorne reported airlines recognised that if they want quality inflight internet connectivity, then the the business model of inflight connectivity providers “has to change” as most company’s in the segment are loss making (Bloomberg, 15-Jul-2018). Mr Thorne said he believes there are “too many players” in the segment and there “needs to be more consolidation”.
