Global base passenger yields down 11% in Mar-2020

IATA, via its Airlines Financial Monitor for Apr-2020, reported (20-May-2020) global base passenger yields (in USD, excluding ancillary revenues) plummeted 11% year-on-year in Mar-2020 as demand fell faster than capacity cuts. Industry-wide passenger load factor fell to a record low for the month, down 21.4pp compared to Mar-2019.
