Georgia reaches preliminary agreements on resumption of air services with 18 carriers

Georgia's Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, via its official Facebook account, announced (11-May-2020) preliminary agreements were reached with 18 of 36 carriers operating in Georgia on the resumption of air services. Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Natia Turnava noted any agreements with carriers must be preceded by governmental agreements on the principles of safe corridors. Mr Turnava added with carriers ready to resume services, Georgia will be ready for the opening of the tourist season.
