Garuda Indonesia targets loss under USD50m in 4Q2018

Garuda Indonesia president Ari Askhara expects the carrier's 4Q2018 loss to be under USD50 million, compared to a loss of USD213 million in 2017, citing positive fuel hedging and increasing ticket prices (Industri, 12-Dec-2018). He said Garuda has raised ticket prices close to 90% of the upper limit set by the Ministry of Transportation, compared to 65%-70%.
