Tuvalu Government representative Tine Leuelu said a dispute with landowners at Funafuti International Airport has been resolved (Radio NZ/Radio Tuvalu News, 01-Jul-2019). The dispute centred on lease payments for the land on which the airport is located. During the dispute, two trucks were parked on the airport’s runway resulting in disruptions and cancellations.
