    Frontier Airlines introduced (16-Aug-2018) its “reinvented” frequent flyer programme, rebranded as FRONTIER Miles. The programme will offer the following benefits:

    • Elite status expanded by adding two tiers:
      • Second tier: ‘Elite 50k’, benefits include upgraded seating for the whole family;
      • Third tier: ‘Elite 100k’, passengers receive both status and ‘The WORKS’ for the family. This includes access to preferred seats, checked bag, carry on bag, full refundability and no change fees. All Elite members will be able to access family pooling;
    • Family Benefits: Families will be able to access family pooling, giving up to eight people the ability to share FRONTIER Miles. Passengers will be able to access the benefits of family pooling by earning Elite status or becoming a FRONTIER Airlines World Mastercard card holder;
    • Frontier Airlines Mastercard: The “refreshed” card programme will enable card members to unlock Elite status through card spend. Card members will receive one qualifying mile toward Elite status with every dollar spent. Additionally, the card programme will offer more ways to earn miles with the ‘5-3-1’ earning structure. For every dollar spent, card members will earn five times the miles on purchases at the carrier’s website, three times the miles on restaurant purchases and one mile on all other purchases. New card members will be offered 40,000 bonus miles provided they spend USD500 on purchases in the first 90 days and pay the USD79 annual fee. Cardholders who spend USD2500 in a year receive a USD100 Frontier voucher on each anniversary of their card membership;
    • myFRONTIER: A passenger profile service. Members will be able to view their mileage accrual, make changes to their profile, see their savings and current benefits, track how far they have flown, access Frontier Airlines travel partners, redeem miles on purchase other than flights, among other features. Existing EarlyReturns and Discount Den passengers will be automatically transferred to the programme. [more – original PR]
